The generosity of our donors has enabled Point to grow exponentially. In 2002, we supported 8 Point Scholars, and more than 20 years later, we’re supporting 755 students.
Ways to Celebrate LGBTQ+ Scholars
Volunteer
- Point asks application readers to review 30 or more applications for our Access, Community College, or Flagship Scholarships in January and February. We are interested in readers with a background in education, admissions, scholarships, or related areas who have a strong understanding of LGBTQ+ issues. - Mentors meet with small groups of Point Scholars over four weeks to address a topic of interest to our scholars. These topics, which change annually, include focus areas like LGBTQ+ advocacy, authentic networking, leadership development, and career planning. Learn more and apply to be a mentor.
